About the role
This position is for a Nuclear Station Leader who oversees the Performance Improvement group to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation at the facility. The areas of responsibility include Training, Emergency Planning, Corrective Actions, and Security programs, as well as leading the stations’ ongoing Operations Performance Improvement (OPI) program. Vistra nuclear sites include: Comanche Peak (Glen Rose, TX); Beaver Valley (Shippingport, PA), Davis-Besse (Oak Harbor, OH) & Perry (Perry, OH). Location will be based at one of Vistra's four nuclear sites*
What you'll bring
- 10 years of relevant nuclear experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on issue identification, structuring and creativity
- Sponsors and supports initiatives/goals for top decile performance when compared with others in the INPO/WANO metrics
- Strong quantitative skills and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
