This position is for an electrical engineer to work in the Hardware/Firmware Engineering Department at the Electronic Warfare Systems of Raytheon.

• The Senior Firmware Design Engineer is responsible for requirements analysis and decomposition, sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and design verification test.
• The Senior Firmware Design Engineer will work with other experienced engineers, will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and will have the ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Digital Signal Processing.
• Intel/Altera and/or AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Designing in Matlab/Simulink with DSP Builder and HDL Coder blocksets.
