About the role
The PSV Supervisor is responsible for hiring and managing the workflow of PSV technicians. The Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining technician schedules and ensuring adequate coverage is provided based on production needs and deadlines set .
What you'll bring
- Associate degree or technical school degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience conducting valve repair, testing, reconditioning, or modification.
- NBBI “VR&rdquo
- certificate.
- Proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ASME, NBIC and API codes and VR & NBIC regulations.
- Experience servicing API/ANSI/other valves per customer and valve specifications.
- Verification of a clean driving record, as defined by Control Tech’s standards (e.g., no major violations, no more than 3 infractions in the past 5 years).
- Experience leading teams of technicians preferred.
- Standard First Aid/CPR with AED, OSHA 30, and Safeland, with preference for OSHA500.
