About the role

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance of processing and packaging equipment and providing technical support to improve and optimize within the manufacturing operations and processes. Maintenance Technician Starting Pay: $36.14 per hour up to $39.14 per hour • Shift differential for 3rd shift 12-hour shifts -  6 pm - 6 am on a 2-2-3 schedule

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)
• 2 years (minimum) maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting with electrical experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including completion of an accredited maintenance or industrial technical program (such as an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Technical Manufacturing)
• must obtain CARO certification within 18 months as a condition of employment.
• Understanding of PLC operation, industrial electrical components and systems troubleshooting
• Must have a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detail
• Experience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work priorities
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
• Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
