About the role
This position requires a thorough knowledge of water and wastewater systems and the ability to oversee the work of a team. The Lead O&M Tech will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems and components
- Experience leading a team of workers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Applicants will possess proficiency with computers, including an ability to work with SCADA, Microsoft Word, Excel and maintenance management programs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Applicant must be able to understand and follow compliance standards.
