About the role
As a Super-Sod Class-A CDL Driver , you’ll be responsible for transporting our seed, sod and soil products to our customers. This position requires personal time management and scheduling.
What you'll bring
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Must have adequate leg, foot, arm and hand control to climb into cab, operate foot controls and safely navigate vehicle through traffic and weather.
- Required Education and Experience
- 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving required.
- Clean driving record with no major or excessive violations within previous 3 years
- Must possess valid Class A CDL and Medical Card, including muti-state certification status.
- Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles.
- Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts.
- Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
