About the role
ASRC Federal AFSS is seeking a Planner / Scheduler to support a NASA contract in Hampton, VA. Launch your career at the forefront of aerospace innovation as a Scheduler, supporting mission-critical Flight, Space Technology, and Aeronautics Research projects at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, VA. As a key member of our program planning and control (PP&C) team, you will ensure the success of complex projects by developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that drives technical execution. What you'll bring
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of prototype manufacturing, flight hardware development, testing, and space flight project management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized scheduling tools including MS Project and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully with all levels of technical and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize work, and meet rigorous government reporting deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must meet government and citizenship or permanent residency requirements for access to NASA assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business, Engineering, or Project Management) and 2 years of relevant work experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant work experience in project planning and scheduling is required.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is highly desired.
