About the role

A major food manufacturing facility in the Central Valley is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join their maintenance team. This role requires strong ammonia refrigeration knowledge and hands-on experience maintaining complex industrial equipment in a regulated production environment. If you have worked in canneries, food plants, cold storage, industrial refrigeration, or high-volume manufacturing , you will be a strong match. This role requires industrial background.

What you'll bring

• 1+ year of industrial refrigeration experience required
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical, hydraulics, and fluid power systems
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety manuals, and schematics
• High school diploma or GED
• Note: If you have industrial refrigeration experience but do not yet have ammonia certification, training may be available for qualified candidates.
• Experience in food manufacturing or regulated industrial environments is a plus
• Preferred certifications
• ammonia systems experience highly preferred
