About the role

The Solar Technician Level 1 (S1) is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems, including inverter stations, combiner boxes, and weather stations, to include diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues using SCADA and on-site testing tools.

What you'll bring

• · High school diploma or equivalent
• · Unrestricted driver license in good standing
• · Must be skilled in at least one of the following: power plant operations, electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance
• substation maintenance
• · Must be competent in power plant safety protocols
• · Must be competent in electrical safety
• · Knowledge of and experience with the use of hand and power tools
• · Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to and from job sites as assigned, including supporting other sites
• · Routine operation of a computer/tablet and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
• · Frequent oral and written communications
• · Complete all required training in a satisfactory manner and timeframe
• Applicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.
