About the role
Haverford Township is seeking a skilled and dependable Jet Truck Operator to join our Sewer Department team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and protecting the Township's sanitary and storm sewer systems through inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and emergency response activities. The successful candidate will operate specialized sewer maintenance equipment, including jet trucks and CCTV inspection equipment, while helping ensure the reliability of critical public infrastructure. This position requires the operation of specialized equipment, including sewer jet trucks, CCTV inspection vehicles, dump trucks, backhoes, and other Public Works equipment. The position also involves manual labor, emergency response work, snow and ice operations, and participation in an on-call rotation. Join Our Team
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid CDL Class A License and ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications throughout employment.
- Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
