About the role
HUNT-EAS is seeking candidates for a qualified Engineering Designer position in our Technology group. This team member will plan, design, and specify various types of communication networks and solutions. The successful candidate will work on project planning, designing, scheduling and construction. HUNT-EAS also offers a full range of engineering services to our clients so it will be important for this individual to work well in a team environment. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans, specifications, and models. As member of the technology design team this individual will work on a variety of projects in the K-12 schools, municipal, healthcare, multi-family housing, and college and university markets. HUNT-EAS is seeking candidates for a qualified Engineering Designer position in our Technology group. The successful candidate will work on project planning, designing, scheduling and construction.
What you'll bring
- Degree or technical training in a related field such as telecommunications, electrical engineering, or systems design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards (e.g., BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC)
- Familiarity with construction documentation and project lifecycle
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a multi-discipline engineering environment
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications design or related discipline preferred
