Your Next Big Career Move Starts Here! The A&P Field‑Based Avionics Technician is responsible for ensuring that rotor‑wing aircraft operating under Part 135 remain safe, airworthy, and mission‑ready. This includes performing avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs in remote or field environments, all in strict accordance with FAA regulations and Bristow maintenance policies. Bristow is the world’s largest operator of the S‑92, AW189, and AW139, all of which form the backbone of its offshore energy fleet. These aircraft are widely used in the Gulf of America to support crew changes, long‑range offshore flights, and challenging operational environments typical of the region’s oil and gas infrastructure.
