About the role

Veolia has acquired Clean Earth. As Clean Earth completes its integration into Veolia, recruiting and hiring for this role is being managed in partnership with the Clean Earth talent acquisition team. In this position you’ll be responsible for completing analysis of the waste stream samples per SOPs and waste analysis plan, inventory control for lab reagents, maintenance of the samples/instruments, data entry, analytical equipment usage, associated filing and administrative activities within the laboratory

What you'll bring

• Bachelor degree in chemistry or biology
• Ability to work in team and fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing
• Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while conducting lab tests
• Ability to complete 40-hour OSHA training with 8-hour refresher courses
• 1+ years Bench experience in analytical chemistry
• Knowledge OSHA Regulations
• 2+ years experience in Hazardous Waste Industry
