JOB TITLE: Operator, Assembly FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Manufacturing (Assembly) Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, the Production Operator/Associate is assigned to standardized work of routine nature involving molding machine operation and/or assembly of molded part. Work generally involves the use of simple hand tools, trimming, retrieving, counting, weighing, packing and general overall inspection of part. Responsibilities include; distribution within the plant, placement and removal of parts from fixtures, monitoring and recording quality assurance, including charting of machine factors affecting quality. Production Operators/Associates are required to perform continuous visual and manual quality checks in accordance with standardized guidelines.
