About the role

Provide advice to the Leadership and Management teams with regards to improving operational and financial performance of the various divisions. Timely preparation of the monthly accounts through the supervision of Finance and Accounting staff – directly or indirectly - for the division/entities to which you are assigned. These responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in the preparation of monthly reviews, analytical reports and the preparation of annual budgets.

What you'll bring

• Professional accreditation for Finance / Accounting e.g. ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• Seven (7) years’ experience in Accounting or Auditing management
• Strong knowledge of current IFRS, Jamaican laws
• An effective communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills for planning and budgeting
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software applications
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail in all work areas
• Ability to implement company policies and procedures
• First degree from an accredited institution ideally in finance or accounting
