About the role

As a Resident Assistant, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting individuals with daily living needs while helping them maintain the highest possible level of independence.

What you'll bring

• Knowledge of personal care, hygiene, infection control, and household tasks
• Ability to work effectively with older adults or individuals with dementia, mental illness, or developmental disabilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Dependability and professionalism—especially in a public service environment
• Physical ability to meet job demands such as lifting, bending, and assisting residents
• For CBRF roles: completion of DHS 83 four-core courses (Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record (if transporting residents)
• Preferred Experience & Requirements
• Previous RCAC or CBRF Resident Assistant experience preferred
• Experience working with geriatric, mentally ill, or developmentally disabled individuals preferred
