About the role
STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Lab Test Technician to join the team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine and non-routine testing of aerospace fluid conveyance products. Records test data and provides results to quality assurance and engineering teams in a timely and accurate manner. Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. - Must be able to train on 1st Shift: 6:45AM - 3:15PM
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Military experience.
- Mechanical Aptitude and basic computer skills required.
- Experience with MS Office (excel, word, and access).
- Prior use with mechanical tools.
- Mathematical skills.
- Ability to calculate mathematical formulas including but not limited to, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- College or vocational school coursework preferred, or combination of education and experience.
- Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents, such as blueprints, product manuals, equipment manuals, operating manuals, or equivalent, is preferred.
