About the role

Required to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. repetitively. This position requires a lot of physical labor, and this position requires lifting, stretching, crutching and other movements associated with the cleaning of office, lab, warehouse, cafeteria, restroom, locker room, storage, and industrial areas.

• Required to notify manager or leads regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Required to work weekend periodically.
• This varies, depending on the need and is most common in the winter for snow removal.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, and procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for many hours.
• Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, other similar equipment, and cleaning solutions.
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules.
