About the role
We're looking for a product leader who has lived inside this industry and has the vision to reimagine what a hotel data platform can be. As Senior Product Manager for Data & AI, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for M3's next-generation data platform. You will define what it means for M3 to move from financial reporting to operational intelligence surfacing the right insight, at the right moment, for every level of the hotel organization. This role is a high-visibility, high-impact position at the center of M3's growth strategy.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on data, analytics, BI, or AI products.
- You understand how hotels actually work daily reporting cycles, the USALI chart of accounts, the rhythm of a budget season, what a GM needs to see before 9 AM, and why a 2% labor variance matters.
- Proven ability to take ambiguous, complex problems and turn them into prioritized, executable roadmaps.
- Strong user story and spec writing skills.
- You write requirements that engineers trust and designers can run with.
- Experience shipping analytics or intelligence products in a SaaS environment.
- Data & Technical Fluency
- Comfortable in conversations about data modeling, API design, data pipelines, and embedded analytics architectures
- you don't need to write the code, but you need to earn the room.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics technologies (e.g., Looker, Tableau, custom dashboard frameworks, or embedded analytics SDKs).
- Experience with or strong curiosity about applied AI/ML in a business context including LLMs, forecasting models, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Direct experience with hotel technology platforms PMS (Opera, Maestro, Cloudbeds, etc.), STR data, payroll systems, or hospitality-specific accounting software.
