About the role

Loenbro is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, layout, and analysis of piping systems in various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while optimizing cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and pipe stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of relevant piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
