About the role
The Maintenance Journeyman performs all of the electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs and maintenance to the equipment. It is a multi-craft position that requires mechanical, maintenance, carpenter, plumbing, welding, and electrical skills. The Maintenance Journeyman will:
What you'll bring
- High School degree or GED
- Journeyman card required
- Must have maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Basic PC literacy (Word, email, basic data entry)
- Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to work a 8 hour rotating shift, which includes weekends and holidays
- Previous glass manufacturing experience is preferred
- PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus
- Maintenance, Electrical or HVAC is preferred
