About the role
We are hiring an Employee Relations Manager to support Employee Relations across assigned countries within the EMEA region. The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for conducting HR investigations and providing practical guidanc e and support to managers and employees across assigned countries within the EMEA region .
What you'll bring
- At least five years’ practical experience managing complex Employee Relations casework, including direct experience conducting workplace investigations and advising managers on sensitive workplace matters.
- Strong understanding and experience of French employment laws and related HR practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply company policy, investigation procedures, and regulatory requirements fairly and consistently.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business or a related field is desirable.
- Experience of engaging with works council s, unions, and other employee representative bodies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, and to prioritise effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capacity to identify potential HR, Compliance, or Legal risks within complex casework and escalate appropriately.
- Skilled at managing difficult conversations and conducting objective, non-confrontational interviews, while handling sensitive matters with fairness, empathy, and professionalism, and demonstrating resilience and composure under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, operate independently, and maintain confidentiality.
