About the role

Engineer - Up to £28,000 per annum - Luton (An Hourly/Day rate is an option if the successful candidate prefers this choice of payment) A workshop engineer is actively sought to be based in Luton and able to offer an immediate start. Our client are a busy manufacturing company which design, manufacture, and install anything from a single component to complete earth stations for the Domestic, European and International Satellite industry. Currently they are at the beginning of an expansion plan which for the successful applicant can offer exceptional career progression.

What you'll bring

• Engineer with experience in offsetting and operating CNC Milling & Turning.
• Knowledge of Manual Milling and Tuning machines.
• Using Lathes
• Solid understanding of interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience of Fanuc controls would be an advantage, but NOT essential.
• Worked within a machine shop environment
• Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated manner in order to be able to hit the ground running.
• ideally in the manufacturing industry.
