About the role
Responsible for performing medical history and physical pre-exam (assess vitals), as well as, non-invasive sonography exams and evaluations in accordance with the medical practice protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. Uses ultrasound equipment to record vascular information, such as blood flow and pressure; cerebral, abdominal and peripheral circulation, and oxygen saturation. Documents and communicates test findings to the physician(s). Assists with non-invasive procedures in the office, before or after surgery, or during vascular procedures as needed. General and/or cardiac ultrasound procedures. What you'll bring
- At least one year general ultrasound technician experience in a private Clinic or hospital setting.
- Must maintain ongoing education to maintain credential.
- Circulating and scrub experience preferred
- Stress testing experience preferred
