About the role

Capital One is seeking a highly motivated and experienced principal associate to to support external communications for our Premium Products and Experiences line of business. By joining our team, you’ll be expected to push the envelope in driving premium narrative around Premium Products & Travel and Loyalty, Marketing & Spend Experiences to external audiences. This role will be instrumental in managing media inquiries, developing reports, supporting proactive media relations, supporting executive thought leadership and vetting business engagements for reputation risk. Working across teams, you’ll help deliver impactful campaigns and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. This position requires exceptional judgment, strong project management skills, an ability to build relationships in a highly matrixed environment, and a sustained focus on delivering results. Creative problem-solving, an ability to read the data and the room, and a passion for storytelling are all critical to success in this role. Empathy, teamwork and a sense of humor are essential. What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of external communications experience
• Public relations or communications experience in financial services, technology, or consumer brands

• Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
