About the role
We're looking for a Plant Controller to join our Finance team at our manufacturing facility in McMinnville, TN. In this role, you'll oversee all financial activities for the assigned plant within Victaulic's multi-site operating environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective cost management. You'll partner with plant operations, other site controllers, and corporate finance resources to support decision-making, drive operational efficiency, and ensure consistency across locations. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted financial business partner to plant leadership while contributing to cross-site standardization and best practices. What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing or cost accounting
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks
- Experience with ERP systems used in multi-site environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into operational insights across multiple locations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed organization
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a multi-site close environment
- Willingness to maintain on-site presence at the assigned manufacturing facility, work periodic overtime during month-end, year-end close, forecasting, and budget cycles, and travel occasionally to corporate offices or other plant locations as required
