About the role

Hallmarc is growing and we’re adding a Project Manager to strengthen our delivery capability across retail, hospitality and commercial fitout projects nationally. This is a hands-on PM role – you’ll own projects end-to-end, from initial concept through manufacturing coordination, trade management and quality handover. Beyond delivery, this role carries a genuine account management responsibility. You’ll manage existing client relationships and actively contribute to building new ones – not as a sales function, but as a PM who understands that the best new work comes from doing exceptional work and staying close to the people who matter. You’ll work directly with an experienced GM + Managing Director and a small, senior team (Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Accounts). No bureaucracy, no layers. We are a fun, energetic business with an experienced-operator mindset and a genuine ‘can do’ client attitude. If you’re ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment and thrive in a team that works hard and celebrates together, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll bring

  • Manage planning permits, building certifications and council approvals where required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse locations
  • Trade background or deep understanding of fitout construction methodology (joinery, electrical, plumbing, tiling, structural)
  • Experience in shopping centre environments including night works, defit and landlord compliance
  • Industry contacts and relationships in retail, hospitality and/or commercial fitout (brands, operators, property groups, architects, designers)
  • The kind of PM who keeps clients calm and trades accountable – clear, direct and no waffle
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
  • Current White Card and valid driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel interstate as projects require
  • Experience with Nexvia project management software
  • Trade qualification (Cabinet Making, Carpentry or related)
  • Diploma of Project Management or Cert IV in Building & Construction
