About the role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the assigned departments and will lead their production team to meet our customer goals. The Production Supervisor will ensure that the scheduled work is executed safely and in a systematic manner so that qualified technicians can perform the assigned tasks. This position will monitor the completion of work while ensuring the quality standards are being met. This position will collaborate with other production supervisors by utilizing communication channels. This position operates in a climate controlled and modern manufacturing setting. The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Department Manager.
What you'll bring
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment or aviation maintenance.
- Experience in understanding and following verbal and written instructions accurately, including the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and work scope instructions.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or experience in aviation maintenance.
- High School graduate,
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.
- Experience in interpreting and applying basic shop math and the use of measuring devices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment
- advanced educational accreditation preferred.
