About the role
We’re looking for a Traveling Project Manager to plan, lead, and coordinate the overall management of Heavy Civil Infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position is assigned to active project sites and requires relocation to project locations throughout the Southeast based on business needs. Current and upcoming project assignments include Clarksville, AR; Meridian, MS; Monroe, LA; and Bridgeport, AL , with relocation to the next project site upon completion of each assignment. The Project Manager works in close partnership with the Superintendent and Project Management Team to execute the full scope of services as defined in the contract documents while achieving project safety, quality, schedule, and profitability objectives. This role provides strong leadership, financial and contractual oversight, and ensures seamless coordination between field operations, clients, and stakeholders.
What you'll bring
- Leadership
- 6+ years of project management experience in Heavy Civil or Infrastructure construction.
- Strong understanding of civil construction means and methods.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of scheduling, cost control, estimating, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical and commercial issues.
