As a Sr Logistics Analyst on the Food First Mile Transportation Team, you’ll focus on the efficient and reliable transportation of products from vendors into Target’s food distribution network. You’ll establish and develop great relationships with external carrier partners and across the supply chain. Here, you’ll be challenged to pivot from weekly performance management to working on continuous improvement projects to achieve the transformative goals we have in front of us. You will have the opportunity to shape our carrier network and collaborate with a variety of partners to maximize reliability and efficiency. As a Sr Logistics Analyst on the Food First Mile Transportation Team, you’ll focus on the efficient and reliable transportation of products from vendors into Target’s food distribution network. You’ll establish and develop great relationships with external carrier partners and across the supply chain. You will have the opportunity to shape our carrier network and collaborate with a variety of partners to maximize reliability and efficiency.

What you'll bring

• Four-year degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to solve complex business problems and influence decision making.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results with minimal direction.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, retail operations, or carrier management.
• Experience working with transportation providers or third-party logistics partners.
• Experience in executing in a temperature controlled supply chain operations.
• Experience developing business cases, forecasts, or operational performance reporting.
• Experience across the Target Food Supply Chain
