About the role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) through house calls within the Montgomery area. In this role, you will: Travel to patients' homes, nursing homes, or other health facilities to perform comprehensive history and physical assessments Document acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues accurately and efficiently using our EMR system
What you'll bring
- Family Nurse Practitioner certification required (Adult NP may be considered if no pediatric patients will be seen)
- Board certification by the ANCC or AANP
- Active/unrestricted Maryland NP license (new graduates will be considered)
- Ability to be credentialed by Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance companies
- Proficiency with various computer-based applications (MS Office, logging into programs, navigating different software, typing) and utilizing websites to perform required duties
- Strong background or interest in primary care and preventative medicine (preferred)
