About the role
We're hiring an SEO Content Strategist to own and grow organic as a predictable revenue channel for Scale Army. This isn't a "manage the blog" role. You'll build and execute the strategy that turns organic — SEO, AEO, social, content, and whatever channels make sense — into a consistent source of pipeline. You've done this before. You know what it takes. And you're ready to make this brand yours. This is a core part of the role, not a checkbox. You'll own keyword strategy, content architecture, on-page and off-page SEO, and — critically — AI Engine Optimization: structuring content to rank and appear in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and what comes next). You use AI every day — not occasionally. You know how to prompt well, build efficient workflows, evaluate new tools critically, and implement what actually moves the needle. You'll bring this to the team and raise everyone's output.
What you'll bring
- You don't need to be a social media specialist, but you know enough to guide the channel strategically and elevate whoever is executing it.
- 5+ years in content marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record of growing organic traffic and turning it into a pipeline in a B2B or SaaS context.
- Deep, hands-on SEO and AEO expertise — not just familiarity.
- Experience owning and growing multiple organic channels end-to-end
