About the role
Join our team as a CNC Supervisor! The CNC Supervisor leads daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations, fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role ensures production goals are met by coordinating staffing, training, workflow, and quality standards. Proto Labs maintains ITAR-compliant operations in all of our United States based facilities. Due to ITAR regulations, this role is only open to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status. Individuals with temporary visas (e.g. E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN or OPT) are not eligible for hire in this role.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of lead/supervision/management experience.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to foster results oriented, continuous improvement culture
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to use a computer (Basic Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook) and calculator
- Good written and oral communication skills
- ability to read and write English
- Effective coaching and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Ability to be self-directed and effectively work with minimal supervision
