About the role

This is an opportunity to build a career in Australian residential conveyancing while working with an experienced, high-performing team. You will gain practical exposure to real conveyancing matters, client communication, legal documentation, property settlements and industry platforms such as PEXA, Smokeball and InfoTrack. You will receive structured training and support, while gradually taking greater ownership of matters as your knowledge and confidence develop. We are looking for a Junior Australian Conveyancing Paralegal to support property transactions from contract exchange through to post-settlement. You will assist with file management, conveyancing documents, property searches, settlement preparation, client communication and coordination with banks, brokers, agents and government authorities. You will also help manage deadlines, workflows and matter progression to ensure each transaction moves smoothly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with clients and third parties. You will receive training in Australian conveyancing processes and systems, with the opportunity to progressively take greater ownership of matters and build a long-term career in conveyancing.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional, legal, financial services or commercial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating professionally with clients and third parties by email and telephone.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, thoroughly proofread work.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Sound professional judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong research skills and the initiative to learn unfamiliar concepts independently.
  • Sound judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential issues and raise them early.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Accounting, Management or a related field preferred.
