About the role

This is a PRN position assisting with occasional Veteran's Clinics. (Weekdays ONLY - YOU PICK your schedule!!) A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with various respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, and emphysema. The RT works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate respiratory therapies.

What you'll bring

• · Licensure: Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• · Also excepted: AARC Office Spirometry Certificate
• · Experience in performing spirometry testing.
• · Certification: Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred.
