About the role
As an Aftersales Lead Control & Protection System Application Engineer, you will be closely coordinating with the Aftersales Team leader. The selected candidate will be expected to fulfill following responsibilities.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor in Engineering in Electrical / Electronic or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Power Systems, Control Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering.
- Previous participation in HVDC or FACTS or Renewable control/protection development projects.
- Familiarity with HVDC control concepts (alpha angle control, DC current regulation, extinction angle, PLL, protection interlocks etc.)
- Better to have experience with HVDC systems or power electronics control
- Experience in model-based design for control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with Dynamic Performance Studies using Electromagnetic transient simulation tools (i.e. PSCAD, MATLAB).
- Proficiency in version control tools (SVN/GitHub) and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, merge handling).
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, attention to detail in model implementation.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- ideally with LCC/VSC technology.
