About the role
Job Summary The Welder is a safety sensitive position responsible for performing high quality welding duties for oilfield related construction and maintenance projects under the direction of the Welder Foreman. The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan’s Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times. Role and Responsibilities • Basic welding and fabrication duties • Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication. • Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, grinders, etc. • Read and follow drawing and blueprints • Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment • Maintain records and paperwork • Work cooperatively with other employees • Follow directions of the Supervisor • Keep work area clean and organized • Work and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody’s business • All other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements • Applicant must be 18 years old. • Welding skills with both stick and wire welders required. • Must pass weld test. • Must be able to read blueprints. • Experience with machining a plus. • Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check and fit test Personal Skills • Strong commitment to health and safety • Good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment, and be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team • Customer-focused positive attitude We offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees including: • 100% Employer paid medical insurance - including spouses and dependents • 100% Employer paid dental insurance - including spouses and dependents • 100% Employer paid vision insurance - including spouses and dependents • 100% Employer paid group life insurance • 100% Employer paid long term disability insurance • Health Savings Accounts • Supplemental short term disability insurance • Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance • 401(k) retirement plan - 4% Employer match after 1,000 hours worked • Paid time off • Bonuses
