We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Annuity Rate Setting team within our Consumer Markets Division’s Product Development department. This role is on-site 4 days per week and work from home 1 day per week in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC. We're a small team that supports product competitiveness, rate recommendations, performance monitoring, and the business processes that help those activities run smoothly . We work with actuarial, finance, sales, investment, operations, and technology partners to help the business make informed decisions and execute effectively. This role is a mix of process ownership, business analysis, coordination, and problem solving. You'll take ownership of several important team processes, help improve how we operate, support key business tools and capabilities, and work alongside highly analytical teammates who care deeply about getting things right.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, analytics, financial services, operations, or a related area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different stakeholder groups.
- Ability to learn new concepts, tools, and processes quickly.
- Comfort working in a quantitative business environment.
