About the role
This is a 5-month traveling assignment (late September 2026 through February/March 2027) with full-time hours straight through the winter, when most roofing crews get sent home. You'll start with a paid training week in early September, then travel to Ohio with your crew for the duration of the project. This is not a temp job - you're hired as a full-time JR & Co. employee in your home market, and when the project wraps, you come home to a permanent spot on your local crew with a company that has a 40-year track record and a deep backlog. What you'll bring
- For experienced journeymen and foreman-level roofers: 3–5+ years commercial roofing experience
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to work and earn
- Able to commit to 5 months of travel (home for holidays)
