About the role
Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for various types of projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients’ specific project requirements. We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to support and coordinate mechanical construction activities for a confidential industrial client in Kansas City, Missouri . This is an embedded, client-side role, working onsite as part of a larger construction management team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational background in mechanical systems and experience supporting or managing construction activities within an industrial environment. This position may require up to 100% travel for candidates who are not local to the Kansas City metropolitan area. Working collaboratively with others. Having ownership in the work you do.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Five (5) years or more years of experience in mechanical construction, mechanical systems oversight, or industrial capital projects.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
