About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for full-cycle payroll processing using ADP, including handling taxes, adjustments, garnishments, and deductions while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Our Payroll Specialist set up and maintain employee data across payroll and accounting systems, process and distribute payroll-related information to carriers, reconcile discrepancies, and provide timely support to variety of stakeholders. What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 or more years of payroll or HR operations experience.
- Experience with payroll systems and electronic recordkeeping
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)
- Dynamic and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts to shifting priorities and ambiguity in a high-growth company.
- Proactive, proven ability to work effectively independently, with excellent organizational skills and fierce attention to detail
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills used to build trust and meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
- Experience with general accounting practices and employee benefits
- Experience using Deltek Vision software.
- Experience with a consulting A/E firm in a payroll function.
