About the role
The Completions Inspector is responsible for verifying the integrity, quality, and compliance of all completions equipment and procedures used in the well completion phase. This includes inspection of tools, equipment, downhole assemblies, and ensuring all completions activities adhere to engineering specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring
- API Q1/Q2, DS-1, or other QA/QC certifications (advantageous).
- 3–5+ years experience in well completions, QA/QC, or field inspection roles.
- Solid knowledge of lower and upper completion tools and techniques (e.g., gravel pack, frac sleeves, ESP, ICDs, etc.).
- Familiarity with offshore and/or onshore well environments, rig operations, and service company procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with completions programs, QA documentation, and technical standards.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Effective communication and report writing capabilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office and digital inspection/reporting systems.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related Engineering field (preferred).
- Relevant tool-specific or service provider certifications (e.g., Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes) are a plus.
