About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Brand Manager within Migraine to join our Scandinavian team in a collaborative and commercially impactful role. In your future position, you work closely with another Brand Manager to drive the brand planning process, support brand team meetings, and translate global strategy into strong local execution. The role sits at the center of a complex, high-performing migraine portfolio across three markets, each with different market access dynamics. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys working across functions, partnering with global and local stakeholders, and turning insight into action. You will work closely with global, sales, access, medical, and external agencies to shape and deliver marketing strategies, develop materials, and ensure execution is aligned, compliant, and effective. What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience with a proven track record of success in marketing within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in a focused Brand Manager role.
  • Ability to set up a local brand strategy and translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions.
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques, including digital knowledge.
  • Talent for prioritizing tactics that lead toward setting objectives and strategies.
  • Strong accountability and leadership qualities, including the ability to prioritize and make clear decisions.
  • Experience working with agencies, including briefing, negotiation, and managing external bureaus.
  • Fluency in English and at least one local Scandinavian language.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-market settings.
  • Marketing track record of success within the life science industry.
