About the role

As an OSP Construction Project Engineer , you'll play a key role in expanding Lumos' fiber network and delivering the reliable connectivity that powers our communities. You'll oversee contractor performance, resolve field challenges, and drive multiple fiber construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in OSP construction, telecommunications engineering, network deployment, or related field operations.
• Strong knowledge of aerial, underground, and buried fiber construction, including OSHA and NESC requirements.
• Experience managing contractors and several active construction projects at the same time.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel throughout the market
