What you'll bring
- Must be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc.
- Graduate of an accredited school with a Physician Assistant Degree.
- Licensure, Registry Required: Must be licensed by the State of Florida, Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance as a Physician Assistant with prescribing privileges.
- Special Training: • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be credentialed per facility policies and procedures.
- Certifications: BLS/ACLS Certified.
- National Board Certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Experience: 2+ years of pain management preferred
