About the role

We're looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to build and execute the talent strategy for our core Engineering and Product teams. Reporting directly to the Head of Talent, you’ll partner closely with our founders, and Director of Engineering, to attract, engage, and hire world-class technical talent. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our technical talent pipeline. You’ll help define how we evaluate technical talent, build rigorous engineering interview loops, and position Nectar as a premier engineering destination in the AI space.

What you'll bring

• 5–7+ years of technical recruiting experience
• , with a proven track record of sourcing and closing high-bar Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and Technical Product Managers.
• Ability to confidently discuss modern tech stacks, distributed systems, AI/LLM infrastructure, and engineering trade-offs with senior candidates.
• Strong judgment in evaluating engineering craftsmanship, problem-solving ability, and culture-add without compromising on speed.
• Demonstrated success competing against major tech companies and high-growth AI startups for top engineering talent.
• Highly resourceful, adaptable, low-ego, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment.
• In-person collaboration with the team in Palo Alto.
• Prior experience recruiting within AI/ML, developer tools, distributed systems, or high-scale data platform domains.
• An active network of senior engineering and product talent within the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.
• Experience integrating modern AI sourcing tools, code-repo analytics, or automated candidate engagement workflows.
