About the role
Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems. This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery. This is to notify the general public that some individuals/entities are using the thyssenkrupp (“TK”) name, trademark, domain name, and logo without authorization. They are posing as employees, representatives, or agents of TK and its associated/group companies. These individuals/entities are fraudulently offering jobs online through texts, websites, telephone calls, emails, or by issuing fake offer letters. They are also soliciting jobseekers to deposit money in certain bank accounts or providing jobseekers with fraudulent checks to obtain banking information.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French)
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Previous forklift experience
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
