About the role

We are a locally owned steel tank manufacturing company in   Paso Robles, CA , hiring   1–2 full-time Shop Painters   to support fabrication operations. This position is responsible for the preparation and application of industrial coatings to large steel tanks and components. The ideal candidate is experienced in working in a steel shop environment and understands the importance of quality, safety, and efficiency in surface preparation and paint application.

What you'll bring

• Experience in an industrial, steel fabrication, or heavy-duty manufacturing paint environment.
• Knowledge of surface prep and coating systems for steel products.
• Ability to read and follow technical data sheets and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Respirator fit test required upon hire and annually thereafter (employer-provided).
• Prior industrial painting or blasting experience preferred.
• Experience using airless spray equipment highly desirable.
• Forklift or crane certification is a plus (training available if needed).
