About the role
As a part of the global Employment Legal team, the Sr. Investigations and Employment Advisory Specialist will be a pivotal member contributing to the company’s commitment to legal and regulatory compliance in handling investigations of workplace complaints and managing escalated or complex labor compliance and workplace matters across the US and globally (as assigned). This role will serve as a critical advisor for workplace matters and monitor processes ensuring the company’s corporate standards and practices are followed adhering to applicable policies and procedures. This position is responsible for developing, interpreting, and recommending employment compliance training program goals and objectives, as well as procedures and courses of action consistent with corporate standards to keep a compliant and positive work environment in connection with the primary functions and roles and responsibilities herein and as advised.
What you'll bring
- · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, labor law, organizational development, psychology, human resources or related field required.
- · 12+ years’ experience focusing on handling workplace escalations of employment compliance, complaints, investigations of all levels of complexity.
- · Expertise in fundamental workplace investigation best practices and conducting investigations across US.
- · Ability to work effectively across geographical and cultural boundaries is required.
- · Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- must display a balanced, objective approach and sound judgment when recommending a course of action or handling an investigation.
- Ability to articulate issues, findings, and conclusions in a manner that facilitates development and application of solutions.
- · Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results, including senior stakeholders.
- · Demonstrated ability to coach managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness.
- · Excellent presentation skills.
- · Ability to listen and provide an independent point of view on people and issues while having the courage and sensitivity to deliver tough messages to leaders and employees professionally and compassionately.
- Effective influence and communication skills when recommending and implementing solutions with business partners.
