BEARWEAR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST Division: CCOB               Department: BearWear             Experience: Entry-level Job Code: FWSBWACTSPL                        Supervisor/Reports To: Sherri Little Start Date: 8/25/2025 Support BearWear operations through processing customer orders, managing invoices, and maintaining inventory records. Ideal for students interested in accounting, customer service, and learning basic financial processes. Responsibilities and Career Competencies: • Processing of customer order forms – CSD, CT, TW • Recording Accounts Payable invoices for ordered materials – CSD, CT, T • Initiating customer invoices after delivery – C, P, CSD, CT, T • Review profit/loss of orders – CSD, CT, T • Develop and maintain inventory of current materials – C, TW, P, CT, T • Learn the importance of documenting financial records – C, TW, P, CSD, CT, T Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Attention to detail, strong active listening abilities, written & verbal communication, customer focused. Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Social Media & New Technology Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, hours vary according to workload. Work Conditions: Heat, cold, noise. Physical Demands: Keyboarding, reaching/handling, stooping/kneeling, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. Mostly seated at a desk with occasional walking to other buildings.
